That's her nickname, that and Boo-Boo, she's just too cute for words. I haven't really written about her in a while so I thought I would take a few moments and note some things. She turned 8 months old the other day and lord, is she big!!! I haven't weighed her in a month but I'm guessing she is over 90 lbs by now. She is tall, although it's hard to get her to stand still, it looks like she's at least 24 inches at the shoulders. She is tall enough now that when I'm walking her, I don't have to bend down to pet her - her head is right at the level of my hand. She is just tall enough that she can nip at your butt when she gets playful. She is into everything. She grabs shoes, slippers, clothes, pillows,cufflinks, whatever. She is kolohe. Other times she is calm and watches the action around her like a real adult. She still has a whole lot of puppy-goofy movements, but she is definitely calming down and becoming more adult like. She is super smart and dumb as a box of rocks. She learns things really quickly and then acts like she has no idea what you are talking about. She doesn't bark much but when she does it's hard to get her to stop. Her voice has gotten really deep too, it's scary sounding. She seems to have finally grown into her ears and her feet - though those still seem pretty big. She's beginning to fill out, her butt is huge. Okay, not really, but her rear had always been so thin and now it's starting to fill out. I tell her her butt is big - she doesn't care. We could all learn something from that. Anyway, she is rapidly growing up and in no time at all the puppy she was will be long gone. She is still by far the best dog ever. Well, after Axl and Lola :)
