I didn't think I had anything cute or interesting for today's post since I haven't really had my camera out all week. So I went to my Flickr account to see what I had. I came across the pictures I had taken at the zoo a month or so back and figured I'd post one of those. In fact, I thought I'd post this one:
I love flamingos. They are beautiful and graceful and pink!!! Gorgeous. Then I remembered that I had some pictures of flamingos in Africa at Lake Nakuru:
Now as beautiful as the flamingos in the zoo are look at how beautiful that whole flock in Africa are. It's an amazing sight when they all take to the air. An entire sky filled with pink.

I had to look closely at that first one to make sure it wasn't the ubiquitous flamingo yard decorations! Nice shots!
I used a zoom lens for the bushtits photos, and was pretty close too, but inside. They were actually taken through the window. Thanks for your visit!

Holy COW!!! That's a LOT of flamingos!!! The flamingos in the first shot are awesome looking, but that second shot is unbelievable! WOW!
