Expanding their area

Well, we've been terrible doggy parents for the last 2 weeks. We have not taken the dogs on a walk in that time because we've just been way too busy or too tired. I feel horrible and want to get back into the habit again. Probably next week when I return to work the routine will go back to normal and walking them will fit in again. Meanwhile, we got a quote for a fence for the front of the property so that we could let them run the whole lot. Umm...yeah...that won't be happening soon....It was $4800!!! Yikes....We could probably cut some expenses and save up for that. Maybe we could get get a cheaper cable package or get prepaid cell phones, or stop eating out... For now I guess they will have to live with their small yard a while longer. The good part is with the birds in their own room, I can let them out of their cages and close the door so the dogs aren't confined to the yard. They still have free run of the house just not the bird room. I guess it all balances out.
