A couple of different things

First, check this out:

Find more dog breeds here!

How cool is that? I always feel guilty because I don't blog enough here but apparently someone thinks it's good.   So check out Dogster!!
This will be posted on the sidebar :)

Second, I finally took the dogs for a walk. Since this whole move thing began we haven't had time and/or energy to walk the dogs. Well tonight I had the energy and really felt like walking them. At the old place we would load the dogs into their crate in the back of the truck and take them to the school where we could walk them in relative peace. The street we lived on had a dog in almost every house and with Axl being a little crazy it was impossible to get down the block. We discovered that there are a few dogs around here and thought it would be the same. But tonight I decided to give it a go and it was fine. There are some dogs that bark at us but it's not like the old neighborhood where it felt like we were running the gauntlet. I do have to take them separately because a) hubby won't walk that far (though I'm going to work on that) and b) they are insane together but fine separately. Anyway, a great time was had by all and a new routine is being instituted.

Third, I think we finally have a decent plan for the fence. This property doesn't have any fencing across the front. We put up some temporary fencing in the back but wanted to live here a little bit and get a feel for how we use the property before we decided on where to put the fence. I think we finally have a plan. It was harder then it sounds. We sure don't want to spend the money to put up a fence only to find it doesn't work for us. It's kind of like getting a loan. Whether you are looking for a mortgage, car loan, or rv financing, you don't want to jump on the first one that comes along. Anyway, I think we have a plan for the fence and that is good. This will allow the dogs more access to the rest of the property.

Okay, that's it for tonight. I have to go rest after my walks :)
