Wow, people are stupid....

We went to the dog park again yesterday afternoon. We were there about an hour and really having a great time. There were dogs of all sizes and everyone was getting along great and playing just fine. Then this lady comes in. She walks over to one group of dogs and owners and her dog snaps at a dog. She laughs. She then heads toward where I was standing with my dog and a couple of other ladies and their dogs. As she and her dog got near Axl went over to sniff the dog. Axl was tired and only interested because the dog was right there. So Axl sniffs and the dog turns and snaps at Axl. I didn't really react because Axl didn't. If you know your dog you can read their body language and Axl wasn't acting like this was a real threat so I didn't react. I assumed that the lady would just take her dog and keep moving, that's what I would have done. Instead the lady freaks out. She starts grabbing her dog and screaming and yelling about how my dog is trouble?!?!?! Excuse me?? We've been there for over an hour with no problems at all. You come in and sh*t starts to happen and my dog is the problem?? I don't think so. Anyway, she continues to freak out and put a leash on her dog while I calmly grab Axl and Lola, who had come over by now to see what was going on. One of the ladies I was with put her leash on Lola which freed me up to put the leash on Axl and then put Lola's leash on Lola. Both of the other ladies and I were completely stunned and amazed. Not only was this lady clearly crazy but her reaction was completely out of proportion to what happened. I was about ready to leave anyway so I just took Axl and Lola and we left, but what a nut job. Seriously, nothing was happening. There was no fight. Axl really didn't want anything to do with that crazy dog. Now I know why the dog is the way she is.....
