Guitars

One of our friends came over the other day. He was reading my blog and saw that I wanted to learn to play the guitar. He plays 3 or 4 instruments including the guitar, so he offered to help me. He said he would show me some basics, give me a good book/DVD to learn from and help me if I get stuck. When I brought out my guitar he laughed. It's not a regular guitar, it's smaller and it's old. He laughed and laughed and laughed. He told me I really needed to get a half way decent guitar and then went on to name all different kinds of guitars; Fender, Gibson, Gretsch, etc. I said Gretsch?!?!?!?!? I never heard of them!!! He says they are good and he seems to know what he's talking about so I'll take his word for it. Anyway, I'm going out to look at guitars today and I'm kind of excited. I guess we'll see how it goes.. Oh shoot, I wrote this on the wrong blog.....
