Last week when we went to the vet, she said that both the dogs should lose a couple of pounds. Lola, who is the smaller of the two, is 61lbs and the vet thinks she should be in the 50's. So she needs to lose about 3-4 lbs. The problem there is she is all muscle, it's going to be hard to get her down into the 50's - but we will try. Axl, who is very tall and lanky, weighs 65 lbs and the vet wants him to lose 2-3 lbs. This I'm not on board with. You can see his ribs, not that they stick out but you can see and feel them. His "waist" back at the hip is really thin. I don't think he needs to lose any weight but if the vet says so........(I bristle at doing anything just because someone said you should - errrr!!!).
Yesterday we did some work on the bathroom and Hubby was getting angry. Really angry. We have this ancient house that was put together in odd ways. Anyway, Hubby was yelling at the sink at one point and both dogs took off into the backyard. They thought he was yelling at them. It was funny. We did decide we might look at glass mosaic tile for the bathroom. I love the look of that and I think it would make great accents in the bath. We'll see. All we need is money:)
