They really are still puppies

I have to keep reminding myself that.  Lola and Axl really are puppies.  They are only 18 months old.  We rescued them in May and they were estimated to be about 10 months old.  Since no one knew their birthday I gave them one.  I counted back 10 months and ended up in July, so their birthday is July 4th :)  Anyway, at 18 months they really still are puppies.  Also, being together they act more like puppies then single dogs might.

Yesterday we got home late and Axl and Lola ended up being home alone longer than normal.  They pulled apart a patio chair and ate the foam cushion.  It was hard to get mad at them because I knew why it happened.  I just hoped they didn't actually eat any of the foam.  If they did we might need to get some colon cleansing pills to get it all out of them. That would be terrible. So I just keep saying, they are still puppies, they are still puppies, they are still puppies.........
