This is great news....

Here is a story about a cat rescue on Maui. The condensed version is an elderly couple were hoarding cats. They wouldn't let anyone help them because they were afraid they would kill the cats. They finally agreed to let 9th Life - Hawaii come in and rescue the cats since they are a no-kill shelter. Many of the cats are feral and sick and the treatment is not going to be cheap. Luckily there is help out there. United Animal Nations, an organization I'm associated with, and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, a group I regularly donate to, have offered some financial assistance.
