Is it summer or not??

The other day Mom told us it was summer. She said that school was over and she would be home a lot more. Well, that's not what's been happening. She was home one day. She still gets up early and leaves. She's gone every day. She does come home earlier then before. What's up with that? She says she's teaching summer school and that at the end of the month it will be over and she will be around more. I don't understand humans at all. I'm glad I'm a dog. We have a crazy neighbor that Mom and Dad do not like. Well, Mom doesn't like them more than Dad does. She calls them fools and idiots. He threatened to kill me, that's why Mom doesn't like them. All the neighbors went to something called mediation so that they could get along and live together. Mom says she'll be nice to the bad neighbors but she'll never trust them. Mom says you don't threaten someone's pets if you have a problem with the humans. So she doesn't like these neighbors and so neither do I. I bark whenever I hear them. The other day Mom was laughing at them because even though he's home all day, he's too fat and lazy to do his own yard. They have landscapers come in twice a month to mow the grass. Mom laughs at them because their yard is not that big. She said it's not like they have a huge spread like in Texas. She said the houston landscapers are probably really busy cause people in Texas have huge lawns. I've never been to Texas but my Mom came from Okalahoma which Mom says is near Texas. Anyway, Mom likes to laugh at those silly neighbors. Oh, I think it's time for walkies. Axl and Lola are getting all excited, I gotta go see what's going on.
