Every month the Hawaiian Humane Society sponsors a hike you can do with your dog. It's called Paws on the Path and it's loads of fun. I've taken Bella twice and it really is a good time. There are lots of folks and their dogs and Bella gets out into the forest. A great time. Last month I had to miss it because I was working at Walgreen's. That was actually one of the reasons I wanted to quit Walgreen's, not being able to do what I want to. That pisses me off. Working 8 hours on the weekend in retail is a nightmare!! A complete nightmare!! So that, among many other reasons, is why I left Walgreen's. The only problem is the money was nice. Maybe I could find a job that I could do from home whenever I feel like. Maybe Computer Programmer Jobs is what I should look for. Except I'm not really a great programmer...Okay, back to hiking......So we were really looking forward to the hike this morning. I jumped on the website last night to check exactly where it was so I could plan my morning. I get to the website to find this notice:
October’s Waimano Ridge Hike is canceled. Please join us for November’s regularly scheduled Maunawili Ditch Hike.
Oh, man!!! I was bummed. We were gonna use Bella's backpack for the first time and it was going to be so much fun. What a drag. So, no hike this month. Hopefully it won't be too rainy and the hike next month will go on.
