Hello, it's me....

Yeah, it's been awhile. Things have been cranking along. Things on the dog front are good but not perfect. I've been working the last 3 Friday nights, and I have to work this one, so Bella has not been going to CGC class. Between me and Hubby working nights, the dogs aren't getting walked much. Lucky they have each other to play with.

Bella is still continuing to grow. Not at the rapid rate she was earlier, but still growing. She is taller than Axl now by a good inch or two - hard to get those two to stand next to each other and stand still so we can measure :) She's starting to fill out too, her body is becoming really solid. She still has these ridiculously long legs so I'm thinking she's going to continue to grow for a little bit. I did take her to the beach on Sunday. She loves the beach!!! We walked and met a lot of dogs even though it was windy and rainy. I thought no one would be there because of the weather. I guess other owners thought the same thing. We saw one guy with a metal detector and a dog. The guy was using the detector and the dog was digging where the guy told him too. Interesting. I guess a good digging dog is a metal detectors gold, or actually a metal hunters gold.

That's about it on the dog front. The birds are the birds. Two of the Ringnecks, Mr. P and Ricci, are really looking bad. I have a feeling they are going through a major molt. So the really good thing about having a blog is that you can check the archives to see what happened when. I just looked and Mr. P went through a big molt in September 2009. He's 3 years old and they only go through major molt every couple of years. It's just odd that him and Ricci are going through one at the same time. Tweetie doesn't seem to be bothered by a molt at all. Oh well!!

That's it. I'm off to get some stuff done...
