So I took Bella to the beach and she loved it. She was much better today than last week, today she actually went into the ocean without freaking. She's still not crazy about it but she'll get there. We met all kinds of people and dogs and it was awesome. We walked for over an hour. She is beat. Even now, 4 hours later, she is just laying around the house. Awesome.
I've decided that I want her to do all kinds of stuff. She will start obedience in April and puppy agility in May. I want to get her into Flyball too. There are no Flyball teams here in Hawaii so I may be starting something. I've been reading up on it and it appears to be basically a short obstacle course with a box at the end that they have to grab a ball from. They run in teams of 4 and the fastest team wins. It sounds pretty simple and looks like lots of fun. The dogs can run flat out and just look like they are having a blast. Since there is no one here in Hawaii I am going to have to learn on my own. Maybe I can find an online university that will teach me how to teach her. Actually, there are lots of videos on YouTube so it should be fairly easy. Shoots, YouTube might as well be an online university with all the things you can find and learn on there. Anyway, just thinking....
