Winter is here

and that means rain. Lots and lots of rain. It has rained every day this week so far. This is a small problem with the dogs. They spend most of their days in the house so it's not that big of a change. But the back door is always open and they can pretty much come and go as they please. When it's raining really hard I close the back door and they are stuck in the house. If this lasts for a while it can lead to some destructive behavior. We have to be sure their toys are in the house so they can tear them up and not something we really want like organic crib mattresses. We buy them these cheap stuffed toys and they love to destroy them and play tug with them, it's fun to watch. Oh well, the rainy season only lasts a couple of months :)
