May I introduce our newest flock member. He is an 18 year old yellow-naped Macaw. He is one of the mini-macaws and is horribly adorable.... We got him on Saturday and he is adjusting. The problem that is developing is he is adjusting to Hubby and has bit me. Luckily he doesn't bite hard but I could see if I pushed him he would. So we are in an adjustment period. The other birds are funny. They look at him try to get close without getting too close. It's cute. He is larger than the other birds. Looks like he's been taking hgh spray, but wait...does human growth hormone work on birds??? Anyway, that's what's been going on here. Axl and Lola are bummed because Hubby is working nights so their walks are considerably shorter than normal.
