Patience.......

I need more of it..We walk the dogs every night and Axl has fear issues. He reacts badly when he sees another dog or a bike or skateboard, etc. I've been working on him for months and I've decided I need to have more patience. He is making progress, it is just really, really slow..... Tonight the walk was awesome. He started out good and stayed good the entire walk. It's night like these that make me see how things can be...good... We did walk when it was pretty hot out and that may be what kept him calm. Or the fact that we just got up from a nap. Maybe I should go to www.bestsleepingpill.org and find a sleeping pill I can give them before the walks. That way they will be tired and not so hyper. The good news is that I saw an episode of Cesar Milan where the family with a pit bull similar to Axl was having a slow time getting him to calm down. So if Cesar can't do it immediately I don't feel bad at all....
