Sherlock

That is the newest member, Sherlock, up on the highest branch and that's Mr. P and Ricci lower trying to say HI.  Sherlock got off his area and climbed up to the ringneck area.  I guess he wanted to check it out.  He hung out there and played with the stuff for a while then went back to his own place.  Too cute.  But that's the way to it, let them make the moves on their own.  Birds are flock animals and will want to be around other birds but in captivity you should let them decided when and where on their own.

So everyone is adjusting to the new member.  I have trained the dogs to ignore the birds so well that I don't think they are even aware of Sherlock.  That's a good thing. I want the birds to be just another things to the dogs.  Something they don't have to even think about, like  natural hemorrhoid treatment. That's not something they think about often :)
