Lola is getting better. We did not take her on a walk for over a week. We made her rest her leg and it seems to be working. She is not limping and we walked her last night and the night before and she seems to be doing fine. We are starting her slow, only walking them about 15-20 minutes. We will build her up slowly. I think the limp is from the running and playing they do. They play so hard and so rough, it's scary. They also chew everything. Luckily they can not get to the refrigerator water filters or they'd chew those too.
The baby birds are just about ready to fledge. They all have full feathers and we've been pulling them out of the nest box to hold them. They can perch on our fingers and the biggest one flaps his wings like he's ready to fly. It's so cool to see them grow. I'm guessing they are just about 3.5 weeks old which makes them just about ready to fly out of the nest. The next week or so should be exciting.
