Fosters no more....

Axl and Lola are no longer our foster dogs. They have found a permanent, loving home. With Us!!!! We've decided to keep them. They have worked their way into our lives and are now part of the family. You can tell they are really at home here. So they are ours. Which means a couple of things. Mainly, Lola can finally get her eye fixed. She has an issue with her left eye. Apparently the lower lid curls inward and rubs against her eye. The rescue group had us take her to a vet that I just did not like. We took her there and the vet put Lola on eye drops for 2 weeks. We went back and the vet didn't bother to look at the chart and had no idea why we were there... Ugh!! Then she put Lola on more eye drops for another week. This eye thing really bothers Lola, she is constantly squinting in that one eye and rubbing at it with her paw. Anyway, I'm taking her to my vet, the one I know and trust and we are going to get this fixed. I'm a little apprehensive, I wasn't planning on keeping any dogs before the move to the mainland but what is it they say?? Life is what happens while you're busy making other plans.
