Dogtown

It's time for a new Dogtown. Between the Dog Whisperer and Dogtown, Friday night is NatGeo night. I love those two shows. Last week the Dog Whisperer was about a family that owned two pit bulls and they were having issues with them. The entire hour was devoted to this family and it was a powerful show. It showed the awesome power of pit bulls and what can happen with the proper handling. It was a fabulous show.

But tonight is a new Dogtown. Tonight there's the story of Rosie:

She was rescued during Hurricane Gustav. Another beautiful pit bull. I'm on a pit bull campaign. I'm tired of reading about stupid people who know nothing of pits making these broad, sweeping statements. I'm tired of it. Maybe it's because I just lost Nala, the greatest dog in the world, who was a pit, but I'm very sensitive about pit bulls and stupid people. Okay, I'll stop.

So Dogtown, check it out. I really do love that show. I am an absolute sucker for happy endings and that's what Best Friends gives these dogs, happy endings. I'm just very glad none of the dogs have mesothelioma but then I guess there's not a lot of asbestos around there.

Right now I've got to go put a bird to bed.

I watch Dog Whisperer all the time but haven't checked out Dogtown yet. Perhaps I'll do so this week.
Hugs and blessings,
