Entrecarders!!!!
Please, please, please, stop with the music!!!! When I first started Entrecard it seemed a lot of people had music on their blogs. Then I saw a lot of people complaining about it and it seemed to go away. Now it's making a comeback. For the last 20 minutes I've been dropping Entrecards and I've run across 5 blogs with automatic music. STOP!!!! First of all not everyone likes the same music you do. Second, loading music slows up the speed with which your site loads. If it takes too long I just close it out and move one. Thirdly, your music is crap!!!! STOP!!!! STOP!!! STOP!!!! If you want music on your blog put it on the sidebar with the option to turn it on. That way it doesn't blast your visitors out of their chairs when they visit your site. If we want to hear your music we can turn it on, but it's not forced on us. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, STOP!!!!!! I'm noting all sites that have music and I'm definitely not going to visit them again!!!

I agree with you about the music. I have dial up and with out music the sites load slow. :( Wish I could get dsl or cable.
Yep music or sound of any kind can really startle you when you are visiting sites..especially if your speaker volume is incidentally up..
Most of the music "players" for blogs have a setting where bloggers can set them to play IF a viewer wishes to hear the music. Why people insist on having the players set for automatic is beyond me. It is not only startling, takes time to load, but I usually am watching TV when I'm Entrecard surfing and I want to listen to what I want to listen to!
I agree. I've had to turn my speakers completely off at work. Don't want others to know that sometimes I check out a blog or two while working.

Even worse, when I open a bunch of Entrecard sites at once I can't easily figure out which one is throwing music at me, so I have to search frantically and exit out of all kinds of stuff.
OH I totally agree....NO MORE MUSIC! I usually open a bunch of pages at one time and I rush to get to the one that is playing the music so that I can close that window...so I don't get a change to actually read blogs.
Yup! I agree. I have a playlist on my blog, but it's not ON!
