Redo of the birdie room

This weekend was a complete make over of the birdie room. I took everything out, cleaned it, threw some things away, put some back in, and generally disrupted the birds life for a while. The room is so nice now. Things are more organized and useless stuff has been disposed of making more room. It's very nice.

Initially my plan was to move Sammy's cage to the other corner from where it's at. I did that yesterday and he wouldn't go to bed last night. Hmmm.... When I finally got him in bed I realized that the light was shining on the place he sleeps. That's not good. So today I moved his cage back to it's original location and moved Peanut over to that corner. Then, as I'm doing something else, I look in the room and see Sammy on top of Peanut's cage. Then, as I watch , he climbs inside. He is much larger than Peanut and doesn't really fit in the cage. I couldn't believe it. Now I have to rethink the positioning of the cages. Can't have those 2 too close to each other.

4 days ago we switched Rocco to every other day on the Prednisone and he's not doing well. The day he doesn't get it is not good. I'm really afraid... I read a story about a local lady who has a dog, that looks just like Rocco, who can't walk and wears a diaper. That's just wrong. At that point you're keeping the dog alive for you not for the dog. I don't want to rush Rocco's end, but I don't want to drag it out and make him miserable.
