Down one bird

I finally put an ad on Craigslist and found a home for Brownie. He is not tame and I did not have the time or energy to try and tame him. A guy came who has 8 cockatiels in an aviary and is going to add Brownie to the mix. I think he'll be very happy there.

The Ringneck officially has a name, it's Peanut. We tossed around a bunch of different names and finally settled on Peanut. We are hoping that he will be a talker and Peanut is an easy name for him to say. We are keeping our fingers crossed.

Meanwhile, Sammy just gets better and better. I take him out in the evening and he hangs on my desk for a while. Then he goes back to cage, has something to eat, and starts to settle down for the night. He'll sit on the door of his cage for a while grooming himself and then go in to his sleepy spot. It's all really quite cute.

Rocco is off the pred and not doing so good. I called the vet for a pain killer but haven't heard back yet. I'm hoping he holds up till I hear from her.

And that's it in the animal kingdom. Life has not been boring around here this weekend with all the animals.
