Let sleeping dogs lie

Okay, I'm pretty good with English but I have never mastered lie and lay - they just confuse me. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. So we had the mediation with the neighbors and things went really well. We have managed to come to an understanding so things are better. That's good.

It's been rainy here for the last week or so and the dogs are dragging mud and dirt all through the house. They do a lot of sleeping, like Axl is up there, but I think we may have to look into mattress bags to put over everything so it doesn't get dirty. The dogs do have access to the yard all day but they also have access to the house. And they are not very good about wiping their feet - the little buggers.

So that's it from here. Things are settled down and hopefully will remain that way for a while.
