Dogs and Ice
My dogs love ice. Love. It. In my freezer I have an ice maker, not that it's actually hooked up and used but I do store ice in the tray for the ice maker. Whenever I open the freezer and pull out the ice tray all the dogs come running. They then sit there until I give each one of them a piece of ice. They crunch it and leave. Weird. I have very strange dogs.

My dog loves ice on a hot day, but as I use a traditional cube and he has a soft jaw he will often suck it a little then leave it on the floor to become a slippery mess. Besides wetting him its one of the best ways of getting his core temp down after a big run.
my dog loves ice but always leave a big puddle of water for us to slip in.
