A new member
So we ended up getting that bird. He's only 8 months old so he's really just a baby. I use the term he in the generic sense. While the males and females are dimorphic, you can't tell the difference in the sexes until they reach sexual maturity - around 2 years old. So we have to wait to see if he really is a he. He's still adjusting so it will be awhile until his personality starts to show. It will be fun to see. I should probably take him to the vet for a check up just to make sure he's okay. I want to be sure he doesn't have any vitamin deficiency or any strange disease like Mesothelioma or whatever. But that will have to wait until after we move. It's been a long day and it's time for me to head to bed.
