Mr. P's first big molt is over. He's gotten much of the ring that is the trademark of a Ringneck. Here is how he looks now:
He's got quite the ring going on there.If you look at the back of his neck you can see the pink feathers. They actually have two rings, one is pink and one is black. According to what I've read his ring should be full after his next big molt. That could be in 6 months or a year, it depends on climate. So, there's my handsome boy Mr. P.

We got two of these last weekend, one boy and one girl - this is the girl. They don't have names yet but they sure are pretty..
