Animal Happenings.....

I'm thinking that Axl has issues I'm not able to deal with. For example, when we are at the dog park he's fine with the other dogs, unless a dog is picked up or grabbed by the collar then he goes crazy. I'm not sure what's happening if he's trying to protect the dog or get the dog, but it's bad. Also, if I grab him by his collar he immediately tries to go after the closest dog. I don't know what to do about this, how to handle it, or what. It is a problem and I'm not sure what to do. I am going to start training them because they don't walk on the leash very well, maybe that will help the issue. I don't know....

When Nala and Rocco were still around we had dog ramps everywhere because they were old and arthritic and needed help getting up and down places. Now with these two the ramps are completely unnecessary so we've been taking them down. I don't know, it seems so final, like they really are gone now. It's weird I know but I can't help it. With the ramps still in place it was kind of like they might come back. Now there's no chance and it makes me really, really sad.
