Meet the fosters

Foster dogs that is :)

This handsome boy is Axl. He's a 9 month old poi (mutt) dog. He clearly has some sharpei in him and there is definitely some pit bull. He's a little hyper and rambunctious, I'm hoping he'll calm down some.



Meanwhile this pretty lady is Lola, Axl's sister. She is a calm sweetie. She slept in the car on the way home. I've never had a dog do that :)

They were recently fixed so they are now ready for adoption to a forever home. I'll keep them until they find that home.

The adjustment with Rocco is not going as smoothly as I had hoped. Rocco is barking at them and he bite at Axl. Luckily Axl doesn't attack back, he just whines and cries (that's a vicious pit for you). Rocco is already calming down though and I figure even if it takes a day or two he'll adjust. Luckily Rocco can't move very fast and Axl and Lola can. When Rocco growls they get the heck out of his way. But Rocco is mostly all bark and no action. He'll lose interest in them soon enough. I have to say though, in the hour and a half they've been here I've seen more activity out of Rocco then I have in months. So this may keep him a little more active.
