The latest addition

This is the newest addition to our flock. May I introduce Ricci. He is about 2 months old and is an Indian Ringneck. We are still handfeeding him and I have no idea if he is a he or a she. I picked him up yesterday from a friend who's birds had babies. We have Mr. P, who is also a ringneck, and he is so fun and adorable and such a character that we were thinking about getting another one. We've noticed that Mr. P really wants to be with the other birds but because he's bigger then them he scares them. We figure this way he'll have someone his own size to play with. I'm hoping they bond and can live in the same cage. If not I just made a lot more work for myself. Anyway, he's a cutie and I can't wait till he's a little bigger and his personality starts showing. I'm also not a fan of handfeeding and can't wait till that's over. We have to keep a close watch on his weight to make sure he doesn't lose any or gain any. I'd hate to have to consider weight loss products at this young age :)
