Feathers, Fur and Fins

I was just reviewing this blog, because that's where all info is kept, and found that Nala started her seizures on Sept. 7th. 8 days later she had 2 more and we put her on phenobarbital. Since that time she has been seizure free though a little dopey. That ended last night. Around 8:30 last night she had one of the worst seizures I've seen, not that I've seen a lot thankfully. It took her a while to recover but she seemed just fine today. I, of course, called the vet this morning and she said these breakthrough seizures are not uncommon. It's only if they become excessive will we change her medication. It's sad but there's nothing we can do about it. She made it about 6 weeks seizure free. Let's hope that happens again.
